Port Forwarding / UPnP

I am trying to work out if I need to set up Port Forwarding manually or not.

Router type:  Hub One.

 

1.  In Plusnet > Advanced Settings, UPnP is enabled.

2.  In the app I am trying to port forward, the setting ‘Use UPnP / NAT-PMP port forwarding from my router’ is also enabled.

3.  In the list of apps in Plusnet > Settings > Port Forwarding, the app I am trying to port forward is NOT listed.

 

Does port forwarding happen automatically if the settings in 1. & 2., above, are enabled, or does that only apply if the app is on Plusnet’s list?

 

Or, do I need to manually add the app to Plusnet’s Port Forwarding list before port forwarding will work?

 

Is there anything else I need to do to make Port Forwarding work?

It should work fine with 1 & 2 enabled with no need to manually add an entry.
I must have been really bad in a previous life as this was my 3rd ISP in a row that used lithium.
Now you're stuck with me because my new ISP doesn't run a forum Cheesy
