Hello,
Anyone had any luck getting a Netgear RAX10 AX1800 working?
I have the Openreach ONT and works fine with Plusnet Hub2, but I want to use my own router.
I just cannot get it to work using my broadbandname@plusdsl.net, with PPPoE Always On being set.
Should I have bought a DSL router instead?
Fixed! Go to the fix.

@paul_int_thall no you should not have used the DSL version.
All you need should be the username and password, use PPOE and do not use VLAN 101.
What are your other settings?,

Thanks @Mustrum - you confirmed I did not need the DSL version of the router, which I thought was correct but when it didn't work had to question it.
I had set the VLAN to 101 as per some Plusnet page that mentions it might be required. After removing that and double-checking the username / password was input correctly, I now have a working connection. Thanks again.

@paul_int_thall you're referring to this page I assume https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/broadband-connection-settings/
Confusing , isn't it! The ONT is effectively a modem, so you actually need to refer to the section 'what settings should I use for a fibre router connected via an Openreach modem' and not the 'what settings should I use for fibre broadband'. The latter refers to the use of a modem/router used with Fibre to the cabinet i.e VDSL
