Jellyfin Server setup need Plusnet to remove CGNAT

Hello,

I'm trying to setup my jellyfin server so that it can be accessed by myself externally. I'm told that my Router IP address is "behind CGNAT by default" and this is causing the issue with me being able to access the server externally. Can i ask that the CGNAT be removed from my router/account? I don't know if this is the correct forum or place to request this so if it's not could someone direct me to the correct place to address this.

Thanks,
Danweedyreed

@Danweedyreed

Who ever told you that plusnet use a CGNAT IP address have given you the wrong information.

Your public IP Address comes from a Dynamic address pool which may or not change after a router reboot.

@Danweedyreed I don't know who told you your router was '"behind CGNAT by default" , but they are talking rubbish - PN do not use CGNAT.
