Hub2 router on FTTC & FTTP?

Basic question, but can I ask if presently using a Hub2 router on an FTTC connection will it  need to be changed to a different Hub2 if converting to FTTP?  Or will the firmware automatically update?

@Martini1

Same Hub.

The only difference is you remove the phone cable and plug an ethernet cable into the RED WAN port and then into the ONT.

@Martini1

There should be not need to reboot the Hub, as soon as the DSL connection is disconnected the Hub will start auto sensing for a DSL or WAN connection, once the Full Fibre connections goes live it will switch to the WAN port.

Well it did for me!
