Hub two not showing all connected devices

I have several devices on my network, both wired and wifi, which although connected do not show up on the My Devices, if I ping them then they respond, but do not show up on the Hub.

Firmware version v0.10.00.04201-PN

Any ideas would be appreciated

Re: Hub two not showing all connected devices

Hi @PeterdF welcome to the forum.

What devices do you have connected to your network? Are you using a second router as a wireless access point? Are any of the devices being set with a local static IP (on the device itself)?

Unless all the device are using the 192.168.1.0/24 network they will not show on Hub network tab.

Re: Hub two not showing all connected devices

  • no other routers, though a couple of switches
  • devices not showing have static ip address set on devices themselves - CCTV & ethernet relay switch
  • all devices have 192.168.1.nnn addresses

Re: Hub two not showing all connected devices

I've seen this issue with the Hub One where a device configured with a static IP (on the device) would not appear in the network map, but this a Hub Two.

I have a couple of linux devices with local static IP addresses both appear in my networks, not sure it would make a difference but are the static IP addresses in the DHCP pool range of the Hub Two 192.168.1.65 to 192.168.1.253 ?

Have you considered making one of the devices DHCP and setting the device on the Hub two to "always use the same address"?
