Help with Hub 2

Hi all, I've just signed up to Plusnet , moving from EE broadband as the prices were just going up and up. Plusnet said they are sending out a Hub 2, I just read it's good for small to medium size homes, we have a large old home with thick walls and had some issues with EE in the furthest bedroom and study. Now I'm worried this router will be even worse. It's due to arrive in a few days. What do I do please?

Try it, and if you have issues, come back here for advice, @SweetestAj .

Can they send our a better router if it's no good or is that their best router? Thanks for replying.

Re: Help with Hub 2

For comparison we have 12 rooms on two levels.

To cover this we have an ISP Wi-Fi Router, plus two Wireless Access Points and network sockets in four rooms.

It is a small investment to make to be able to have dependable video calls and TV streaming throughout the home.

That is the one they supply. As @PhilipHeyes  says, a small investment in Access Points  will most likely solve any issues, if encountered.
