HDD conected to HubOne

I have connected a powered HDD 2TB to my hub. In hub manager, it appears but it says file system not recognized its NTFS

Do the files need to be on the HDD in a certain format as at the moment some are in folders some are not all have different type of name all are different video formats

Re: HDD conected to HubOne

The Hub One is a rebadged Home Hub 5 type A.

A quick google suggests the USB port on the HH5a should work with FAT, FAT32 and NTFS.  However, some users report problems with some make/model of 'very large' capacity USB hard drives preformatted with NTFS - this may be the same problem you are witnessing.

If you have a spare USB flash drive, you could perhaps reformat it to NTFS and try it in the Hub One to verify NTFS is supported.

Plusnet don't provide any support for the USB socket on the Hub One.

Re: HDD conected to HubOne

Thank you I'll try that.
Was going mad reading all the different stuff on here and the BT site.
I have a spare hdd so I may try the other formats to see if they work
