Hi.
2.4ghz Smart light strips can go dark when they feel like it & takes multiple attempts to get them back online (via app)
2.4ghz washing machine can take multiple attempts (when in bad mood) to get it to start washing (via app)
2.4ghz Certain iOS apps don’t load or slow to load.
2.4ghz iOS Safari browser certain web pages don’t load as stuck at 30-50% (more successful on iOS chrome)
5.0ghz even when try to jig app or web pages (when 2.4ghz goes funny) sometimes they go slow or freeze again but less so than 2.4ghz
can get buffering on catch-up tv
Hub one (fibre) is on split SSID and both are on smart wireless with latest firmware. Router is up high. Ethernet (PC) works much better.
Trying to get some ideas if it’s the router being funny, router channel iffy, iffy devices, iffy apps etc. Frustrating because bumpy experience.

It might be being caused by WiFi channel interference. The only way to tell is to try other WiFi channels. Channels 1, 6 and 11 are the three to try for the 2.4 GHz band. I'm not sure of the 5 GHz channels.

Tried switching channels and smart wireless.
The lights are behaving for now but iPad / iPhone fussy on safari though old iPod touch safari is great.
My bank webpage works on Safari 4G but not Safari WiFi. Chrome ok

It'll be worth downloading a wifi app to see if you are on clear channels. Interference from a nearby router on the same channels wont help. Depending on the router you have it's usually possible to allocate the wifi to clearer channels. Sorry I dont know how to do that on a Hub 1/2.
Try something like "WIFI Anyliser".
