Draytek 2760, is DoS needed?

As the title says I have a draytek 2760 when I first set it up I went into firewall and enabled DoS.  Do I actually need it? I assume the router's firewall is still protecting me by default without DoS?

The reason I ask is for some reason when fully enabled it causes YouTube to perform badly, buffers, drops resolution etc. As soon as I turn it off, I don't get any issues.

So is it really needed? I've attached a screenshot so you can see exactly what I'm enabling.

Fix

@jrilton - I have a DrayTek 2925 with the DoS defences turned off and have no intention on turning them on either. As the chances of me being a target for such an attack is quite remote, it's not as if I'm a bank or big corporation, so save yourself the clock cycles and turn if off. Also, if you have it, disable Hardware Acceleration as well.
