You can't split the 2.4 & 5GHz bands on the wifi on the Hub2
Aside from that the Hub2 is newer and based on the the Smart Hub2.

Re: BT Bussiness Smart Hub 6 Type A vs Plusnet Hub 2

Wifi in my limited test (usually use a mesh) was better.
UI is snappier and more responsive.
Synch wise a little more than smart hub (but I'm on an ECI cab)
If you were using a hub1 it would be a no brainer. But the missing functions in that device are available in the hub2 are available in your business hub (e.g. custom DNS)

Re: BT Bussiness Smart Hub 6 Type A vs Plusnet Hub 2

@Empire

I have not noticed a significant difference in performance. My observations:

BT Business Smarthub

Plusnet Hub 2

Can Split 2.4 and 5 GHz bands

Can’t split wireless bands

Now an old design but firmware still supported by BT. Any for sale may be unused but they will be several years old so no proper guarantee.

New for Plusnet based on BT Smarthub 2. Come with a guarantee and Plusnet support.

Have to manually configure Plusnet settings. These can occasionally get screwed up and need re-entering

Auto configures after a reset.
