Hello. I have (purchased!) a BT Business Smarthub 2 in order to use the discs and its all connected and working. When it was connected to the BT Business service it automatically updated its firmware as required.
I cannot see a link to do this when connected to PN; maybe it still happens automatically? Any idea please?

FWIW I have been using a BT SmartHub 6 for some years and in that time I have observed the firmware update a few times. Though its last update 13th April 2023

@whittonwanderer welcome to the forum.
Like plusnet Hubs BT Hubs use CWMP (TR069) for device management which includes automatic firmware updates.
The only restriction for not receiving updates would your device not being on BT's management server or not being able to contact it or NO new firmware versions available.
You may see CWMP messages every 24 hours confirming a successful connection in the CWMP/TR69 category of the event log
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks. I do indeed see CWMP messages. The last update was made when it was connected to my BT account for the first time. I have Firmware version:v0.31.00.08028-BT.
Seeing as I don't have a BT account anymore, I guess it won't update. Never mind; it works so far!
