Accessing Hub 2 from an Android device

I am able to log on to my router from my Desktop and Laptop by typing 192.168.1.254 in the address bar.

However if I type the IP address into the address bar of my browser from an android device [Mobile phone or tablet] the browser performs a search of the internet rather than connecting to the router.

Is there a particular way I should type the IP address to connect to the router.

Thanks in advance.

@Harold1066 Which specific devices, using which browser? I don't use Android devices, but that is not expected behaviour.

@Harold1066

I have just tried 192.168.1.254 using Firefox, Chrome and Samsung Internet on my Android Galaxy S22 Ultra and each behaves as expected both using Mobile and Desktop site options.

What version Android do you have and, as @jab1 says, which browsers?

@Harold1066  You are connected to your in-house WiFi and not the phone providers ?
