I am unable to use the 5G WiFi reliably. Whilst connected to 5G i lose internet connectivity at random until i switch back to 2.4G which is solid. This happens on my laptop and my Apple Iphone.
The router is about 6 feet away from me
My firmware is "Software version 220.127.116.11.83.8.263 Last updated 09/03/19"
Do i need this updating?
Fixed! Go to the fix.
Re: 5G drops out
Hopefully a Plusnet staffer will come along and help.
My answer is included in this post to another victim. https://community.plus.net/t5/Fibre-Broadband/Wifi-Authentication-Errors/m-p/1666839#M100287
Ok, so it appears to be stable on 5G if i drop the Wireless i/f type to 802.11a/n (up to 450Mb/s)
I'll leave it on that for now.
