5G drops out

I am unable to use the 5G WiFi reliably. Whilst connected to 5G i lose internet connectivity at random until i switch back to 2.4G which is solid. This happens on my laptop and my Apple Iphone.

The router is about 6 feet away from me

My firmware is "Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.263 Last updated 09/03/19"

Do i need this updating?

Sorry, this is the latest firmware. Some are asking for an older firmware to be downloaded.

How do i get an older firmware and will this fix the 5G wifi issue?

Hopefully a Plusnet staffer will come along and help.

Ok, so it appears to be stable on 5G if i drop the Wireless i/f type to 802.11a/n (up to 450Mb/s)

I'll leave it on that for now.
