wi fi connection

Hi All.

 Just been connected this morning ,full fibre300.

workmen was spot on all done in very quick time.

 having a problem logging to wifi,pc was connected via the button on the router as i cant get the password right no matter how many times i try ,pc or phones.

iam not  keyboard expert and am sure its my fault but no manner how many times i try i just cant get it to connect.

 70 odd years old and not key board savvy.

@markbivvy Welcome to the forums. What type of connection did you have previously - if any? 

If it was FTTC, the only changes you would have to make would be to disconnect the cable between your phone master socket, and connect the Ethernet cable between the newly installed ONT  and the WAN port in your router.

Did the installation engineer not check your connection was OK before leaving?

Ah, so you were with Virgin previously. As asked before, though, did the engineer not check you had a connection before leaving - they are supposed to?

yes,both boxs are side by side connected to each other.

So, he did not confirm that you could get a connection - i.e. that you could connect to a page on the internet?

Which password? I am left wondering if Plusnets systems haven't fully updated.
