Router not delivered.

Hi, I received a text Monday the 5th of December now the 14th saying my router was dispatched. My broadband is now live but is useless without the router. Any idea how long they take to arrive as I have family coming over for Christmas as would be nice to have wifi ready for then.

@Tudacoopz  Welcome to the Community forum.

Hubs are shipped using the Post Office Tracked 24 hr. service, but as I’m sure you’re aware this is currently all to pot.

Do you have another hub that could possibly be used? Depending on which service you are on there are many alternatives that can possibly be used, including BT hubs.

If you need further advise then tell us which service you have and any devices that you have or can borrow so that we can give you further advice.

Hi, thanks for quick reply. I’ve only just moved out from parents so this is my first Wi-fi package I’ve had. Parents might Still have a old sky router but they will. Have to have a look, will this be any good?

I'm sure a sky router is locked down as sky use a different encapsulation called MER. So I don't think a sky router would work.

@Tudacoopz - according to Royal Mail, delivery was attempted on 06/12.

I'll drop you a message containing the tracking reference.
