Plusnet Protect

I've just moved to the PlusNet full fibre broadband service and am trying to access the PlusNet Protect by Norton that is provided as an add on. It is advertised as free and when I click on the option of it in the add-ons section of my PlusNet account I get taken to page the says if I click the option below it will ask for my e-mail address and download the anti-virus package. I click the option but instead of asking for an e-mail address I get taken to a page requesting my credit card details in order to charge me £147 for the software?

Is there some other way of downloading the PlusNet Protect package I should be using?

Re: Plusnet Protect

@stephenfurner You are possibly the third or fourth person to raise this issue. Hopefully a staff member or one of the Super Users will pick this up and investigate the issue.

@Leanne_T  - one for investigation?

Hi @stephenfurner

Welcome to the Community!

I'd love to help get this logged, so I've sent over a Private Message asking for some specific details. If you can take a look and get back to me, that would be great.

Re: Plusnet Protect

One of the super users did raise this earlier today - it is under investigation.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Plusnet Protect

Hi @jayhaz

Thanks for letting us know.

The price should now be showing as £0 could you try again and let me know how you get on?

Leanne.
