Order stuck at checking line

Hi, ordered fibre broadband over 10 days ago, order status is still stuck on checking line, no router has been sent, and can't get through to customer services via the phone line to talk to anyone, and can't get customer services chat to work despite clicking on the link to allow the relevant cookies (and tried on two separate PCs and different browsers). I note that you've started taking money out of my account via the direct debit I set up, though, even though i'm not receiving the service I'm now paying for. When can I expect this to be resolved? I'm supposed to be working from home, but I'm worried that my old service provider will terminate my service and leave me hanging in limbo.
