Order delayed until when?

It's really frustrating to not have broadband at all when everything depends on it. Ordered broadband online on 14th July and had email saying it will go live on 30th July. As website says no need to tell your provider, plusnet will do everything so, I got an email from my old provider, sky saying it will disconnect on 29th July. So it did. But its 1st of August and no internet, had msg saying its delayed few days ago. Tried ringing waited forever. Is it normal to get delays like that?? When I switched from bt to sky before, it was straight forward. I switched my sky, ta da! Internet on.

Hi there raihari, I'm really sorry for us taking a while to get back to you about this and for the delay to your order. 

 

I've looked into it and can see that an engineer needed to do some work on the line between your home and the exchange due to a fault which caused the delay to happen. That's now been resolved and I can see your connection went live on Tuesday. 

 

Is everything working as it should be for you?
