New customer

How long does the broadband take to be usable from start date.

Got switched over today, and light has remained orange all day.

The usual advise is that your connection might 'go live' any time up to midnight (or 23:59:59 as they put it).  If it's still not working by then (or tomorrow morning if you have to go to bed before midnight), post an update here and I'm sure one of the staff will look into it for you.

I can see your broadband order has recently completed. I have updated your account details and you should be able to connect to the internet within the next 10-15 minutes.

Got email at 16.28 saying broadband was now live. 12 hours later and still nothing.

Managed to get it to work, after swapping the filter for my old sky one. Seem I was sent a defective filter.

Any chance of a new one

Hi @neilwoods,

 

We can send one out for you if you wish, but you are free to keep using the old Sky one as well. They are universal and work on any provider.

Would be good have a replacement filter. The sky one is several years old.
