My switch over to EE

I have switched provider from plusnet to EE for my elderly mother, to keep a landline for her. I went through the plusnet site, used a code on the EE site from plusnet and set up the new account and order of broadband, landline etc. Ive booked in the engineer visit. Everything is ok with that side of things. But i had nothing to tell me that EE "notify" plusnet of the change, im still getting offers from plusnet about upgrading. I just want to know if plusnet will be "switched off" when we move to EE? I dont wish to pay 2 charges. I used to like the live chat. I am autistic and I have social anxiety and I dont make phone calls so I dont feel I can speak to anyone at plusnet.

Re: My switch over to EE

See what’s been logged on your PlusNet account here: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search&view_by=30days (that PlusNet site may prompt you to authenticate with the same details you would use when accessing your PlusNet Account Centre account and control pages).

You should see something that indicates you have started a one-touch switch to EE, and it might also show an expected transfer date, though exactly what happens will be under the control of EE’s onboarding people on their systems.
There’s only one line and only one service on it, so you won’t end up paying twice.
