Hi!
Was supposed to have an engineer appointment today between 1pm and 6pm. I've received the router and had a confirmation text on Wednesday this week which I did reply to to reconfirm.
I've been home all day today waiting and no one has showed and I've had no contact in regards to this. I've been checking the order tracking page and this is now marked as engineer visit complete and awaiting activation but clearly this isn't the case.
Not sure what to do now - I'm busy the rest of the evening now so can't call and wait on hold for support tonight. Any advice or further information would be greatly appreciated ![]()

@jess2 Is this a new connection - i.e. a supplier switch, a product change - or what?

OK. What are you going for - Full Fibre (FTTP) or part fibre (FTTC)?

Are you getting Fibre (old school FTTC) or Full Fibre? If the former, no visit may be required.
Check for Open / Closed questions on your PN account. You may be able to reply using this.

Full fibre - hence the engineer visit being booked
Just checked that link and I have no open questions. There's a couple of closed things showing but they're all about the hardware and delivery of the router

@jess2 Too late for today, now, but I would call PN in the morning and ask for an explanation.
EDIT: Do you have the FTTP connection - i.e. CSP & ONT installed?

Ok, thank you that's my plan for now
I do not believe so I think that's why the engineer visit was required

I suspect you are correct @jess2 . Without being too presumptuous, I suspect you were allocated an engineer who didn't want the job, so kind of bounced the issue back to you.
