Engineer Visit but I have a ONT Box

Hello,
I’ve placed an order for fribe and was told I require an engineer to install it. But I just moved in yesterday and the property (new built) already has a openreach ONT installed, power and flashing PON light.
does anyone know if I really need a visit and the 3 weeks waiting time if comes with it.

A flashing PON light means that the Fibre circuit to the exchange isnt completely configured. As its a new build, its likely that the ONT ID hasn't been configured for the circuit. If this is the case then I'm afraid an engineer visit is necessary and the time will depend on engineer availablility in your area.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
