We are seriously considering placing the new router directly next to the master socket.

That would be the best option if possible. You will need to use the supplied filter, purely to change from a BT socket to an RJ11.

Plus the supplied filter into the master socket and then use the cable supplied with the router to connect it to the filter.

Obviously there is no landline with the SoGEA product , so there's no need to plug a phone in anywhere . 

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
