Delayed Activation

I am a new customer. I ordered the fibre 74 on monday 15th and got an activation date of the 19th. I am moving into a house and have until the 8th January to move everything into the house so there was no rush and I thought I can take my time. Activation day comes and goes and no activation. So I called them on 20th and they said it has been stuck there and have to escalate to openreach and they will contact me in 48 hours. Im quite annoyed really because no one informed me it has just been sat there and i would have ideally liked my furniture and everything moved in by today but cant until the Internet is connected. I have heard nothing yet so I am hoping I hear by tomorrow
