I rarely need the speed, @H3len1707 , which is why when I moved from 40/10 FTTC to FTTP , I selected the lowest option - in my case 100Mb/s - but I moved technologies more for reliability and future-proofing.

As you don't need the speed I would go with FF74 to start with. Upgrading at a later date is a simple software change but does require a new contract if not at the end of your current one.

 

You talk to the engineer on the day about the install to agree things.

Always look at the deals on offer before making this choice. Deals frequently change and it's not unknown for faster speeds to be on special offer and cheaper than the slowest.
