(sadly) when to cancel?

I have both Broadband and phone over the Openreach network (broadband since 2004).

I'm changing to another ISP on another full fiber network very soon and the phone side will go with a 3rd party VOIP service.

Once I have ordered the other service, at what point should I cancel my plusnet account?

Many thanks

@Pete_uk

Don't speak to PN at all - the new ISP will (should) handle the cancellation.

Re: (sadly) when to cancel?

If they don't speak to PN. Get the new service up and running first. Then start a port of your number to VOIP provider. The port of the number will cancel your PN broadband.
If the service is cancelled by the new provider, you will get an email from PN stating sorry you are leaving. You have 30 days to port a ceased number to VOIP.
Was a member for years, but moved from PN fttc to fttp from an AltNet. Getting 940Mb up and down. Happy to stay on here and try to help others. 
