confusing email from PN about EE.

So this morning I get an email from PN saying they are migrating me to EE.

I put in a renewal request to migrate to broadband only last week, it's scheduled to switch on Wednesday. I've moved my phone to Voipfone and am abandoning my existing number.

Should I be worried that PN will migrate me to EE when I don't need to? In the past I'd have said now but the farce with the email migration has got me worried.

I know that their email says if I don't switch in the next 30 days they'll move me but as my switch is in progress I'm worried that their processes aren't actually talking to each other

Re: confusing email from PN about EE.

I hope that you have not yet migrated your existing number to a VoIP provider.  Doing so before the PN service changes to SoGEA or FTTP could sabotage the Plusnet service and account.

EE migration notices can be prepared on the basis of current status, having no regard for inflight orders.

@Townman,
Think that they have set up a new phone number, they state that they are abandoning the existing number
Was a member for years, but moved from PN fttc to fttp from an AltNet. Getting 940Mb up and down. Happy to stay on here and try to help others. 

Re: confusing email from PN about EE.

Have abandoned my existing number, only really need it for outgoings calls.so doing it this way seemed sensible.

So basically I don't need to worry unless they send me another email about migrating to EE?
