My 24 month contract is coming up for renewal. Can you tell me my a new customer gets a better deal than an existing customer. For example Fibre 300 renewal is £30.99 PCM yet a new plusnet customer gets this for £29.99 PCM.
Even Sky offer existing customers better deals to stay with them than new customers get. Come on have a think about this and give existing customers a better deal.
Here’s one for you….. at renewal if your on fibre 300 then offer fibre 500 for the cost of a new customer on fibre 300.

@Parks Any company will offer new customers a 'sweetener' to get them to switch, especially in the broadband market, but also in others.
If you are coming up to renewal, it is always a good idea to actually ring up and ask what they can do to retain you as a customer - something I always do - and when I was with PN, I was able to get a better than new customer deal. It is a little harder these days, but always worth a try. Give them a call on 0800 013 2632.

Have you checked recently whether you can get full fibre from an AltNet provider at your address ?
AltNet's can cost £5 to £10 per month less than comparable speed packages from Openreach resellers like Plusnet.

Further to outcast's comment, if there are Altnet or even other OR based ISP deals available that are better than the Plusnet deal you've been offered, it can be worth mentioning that to Plusnet as they will often match it. If not, hang up and try again another day as the deal Plusnet will offer can vary from day to day depending on various internal quotas.
