I don't understand why my broadband bill has gone up by £11 in May as compared to April. The discount on unlimited fibre has reduced from £24.38 to £13.37 and line rental discoubt has reduced by £0.28 but my contract doesn't expire until next month. Can anyone explain?
Fixed! Go to the fix.

You pay in advance.
Thus you are paying the "out of contract price" for part of the month.
Time to do some research and then phone up (suitably informed) to find out what a new contract would cost for your desired service.
If you do that now, the new contract will apply from the date you agree it (more or less) and you will never pay the higher price although it takes a few months (and maybe another phone call) for the billing to be sorted out.
