Transfer from DSL to FTTP

I have 12 months left on my DSL contract, but would like the benefit of FTTP.  FTTP is two year contract, does Plusnet novate current contract and then add 12 months for FTTP contract?   Or do you End the DSL contract with no charges and start a new contract?

You End the DSL contract with no charges and start a new contract

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
