Temporary 2nd home

We've bought another house that we're renovating, whilst our current home is up for sale

So, for an unknown period, we have two houses

Our current contract with our existing home is until early 2027

But we want broadband in the 2nd house

Is there any way we could have two contracts but be able to cancel one at short notice when our current house sells?

David

@David128 You can have two contracts, but you would be liable for ETC's at the one you cancel - at any point.

Re: Temporary 2nd home

@David128 I'd look at a payg mobile ( 4g or 5g ) broadband for one of the locations.

Either, install it at the new property, then when you are ready to move, transfer the Plusnet broadband

OR

Move the Plusnet broadband now and install mobile broadband at the old property.

Just a quick look at Argos (I'm sure they're not the cheapest) shows hostpots and packages available from around £50 upwards with from 90 days to 12 months validity

@David128

maybe consider a 4g LTE router, a provider like SMARTY offer Data only monthly rolling  plans £20 unlimited.

You'd need to be sure the chosen network has a good signal.
