Referals Discount

I have received an email saying that EE will take all future PN payments. Will I loose my Referal Discount?

Re: Referals Discount

As you (presumably) have moved/been moved to EE, yes, as you are no longer a Plusnet customer.

Re: Referals Discount

So there is a financial penalty triggered by a forced move to EE. I have yet to move.

Re: Referals Discount

That is true, but it will only take effect when you move.

I understood that you retained any referral credits as a discount on the EE cost. So the price (at least until the end of any contract term) was the same as the effective Plusnet cost

Its outlined in a FAQ somewhere but I cant find it at the moment. Doesnt the email from Plusnet about the move to EE mention 'friend discount' ?

Re: Referals Discount

@MisterW  /  @JHA1E  - from here

What will happen to my Referral Credits?

If your broadband and home phone are being moved to EE, we’ll honour up to three referral discounts per customer. This will be built into your new EE price and so will no longer show as a monthly discount.

The information is not in the EE but it does mention referrals and points to the FAQ. You need to dig through the tiles and then open collapsed Qs to find the As.

So if you have more than three referrals (as do I) you’ll be losing out.
