'Possible' incorrect bill

Hi, my contract started on 30 March, at that point my monthly bill was £22.99, with the price increase the following day it is now £25.13.

I received a bill for £4.51 dated 2nd April which states my monthly bill is £27.50.

I'm assuming this bill should have been for £2.14? Also, my bill shows a £55 phone credit?

Could someone take a look at it for me.

Re: 'Possible' incorrect bill

Thanks a lot for getting in touch @DSR.

I'm no use this evening I'm afraid, our billing tab is down at the moment, but I've saved your account to my diary and will be checking up on this tomorrow morning, I'll keep you posted. Smiley

Hi

I have looked and responded to the ticket. It's still a little unclear how the pro-rate was calculated, and why the details on that bill are different.

Thanks a lot for getting back to me @DSR, I've just responded now if you'd like to have a look. We try to keep billing and contractual information away from the public domain you see. Smiley

Whilst that is understandable in respect of the figures, it would help greatly if the principles behind what an individual perceives to be "incorrect billing" were very much in the public domain.

A simple explanation of how the billing change will be seen might eliminate the significant number of "my bill has gone up by the wrong amount" posts ... and thereby reduce staff workloads.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
