New fttp contract

When my plus net contract ends I want to upgrade to fttp. How am I charged whilst waiting for the fttp to be installed? Will I be paying the fttp contract price? Or will I be put on a higher tarrif until it is live?  Also will I still keep my existing plusnet email & webspace?

@Sandgrounder119

Can't help with the specifics of the billing re upgrade but you can upgrade anytime you like at the cost of a new contract - which you would be doing anyway.

Nothing changes with your email and webspace. I assume you're aware PN is in the process of moving this to a third party provider.

Finally, I aslo assume you know you'll lose your phone line and number if you go to FTTP.

@Sandgrounder119

Should have added that you can phone the PlusNet Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 to see what's what and get you questions answered.

Re: New fttp contract

@Sandgrounder119

If you renew with FTTP a bit before the end of your contract (a few weeks) then you will never have the out of contract price.

The billing may be a bit "random" but Plusnet will sort it out in the end.

Note that you pay in advance so once you are being billed for a month which has days beyond your contract you will pay a proportion of the out of contract price.

If you recontract then it will eventually be charged at the correct rates.

I am the satisfied customer....
