Re: Move to EE?

@tamahaac Plusnet should have sent you an email titled "We're moving your broadband and phone services" earlier in the year. It gave you 30 days to contact them if you wanted to stay with Plusnet. If not, you would automatically be transferred to EE. I received a reminder 2 weeks later. Between that first email & my router being sent was 13 weeks. Are you sure you didn't receive any emails (up to 3 months before 10th August) about the transfer?

Re: Move to EE?

Hi RadioFox, MrW & all those that responded. Firstly I checked my Plusnet emails & you're quite right I did get an email in mid August about the EE hand over.

As for the email settings issue, all sorted now. In a nutshell it's the 'username' that is different now - that was the problem. This is something that got missed in all the fun - anyway certainly by me.

Basically just to recap: 'incoming': mail.plus.net, so no change there (except for the port server from 110 to 995) 'outgoing': mail.enmail.co / port server now 465 (from 25) as so many have said

Anyway 'thanks' again to all who contributed.
