I have received an email saying that I am leaving Plusnet but we are not actually leaving, this is a mistake surely. We are unaware that we are switching and ideally want to stay with plusnet.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

In that case, it appears someone has made an error. I would call PN Support immediately and inform them of the error.
