Obviously, the billing team have the answer as they created the problem. It is ridiculous that there is no way I can contact them directly other than by phone.
Glad you are still around and so kind.

The billing period is from 20th -19th for December and 20th-19th for January.
What was the billing period on the November bill ?
edit: I'm going to try prodding one of my contacts in billing to see if he'll respond directly.

Thank you so much in taking the time to try and help me DS.
Honestly, it's been a pleasure

I do remember when you could pick up a phone and call most departments within a business using a direct number. Funny enough I happened to stumble (it's on these forums) on some information of which that in turn led to a someone writing 'LinkedIn Tuki'. That then led to an author whom was saying about business's reducing their contact numbers as a cost saving excercise - so if these business costs are lower why are we paying more for them...!!!
I still prefer cash over card, pen and paper over emails and currently knowing I have a landline for emergencies as my mobile signal is cra rather poor here.
If (and I'm picking on Plusnet here as they are my Internet Service Provider (ISP)) they wish to remove phone numbers why can't they provide either a text number (like they now do for Broadband and Phone faults) or an email address that goes directly to the department you wish to communicate with - surely billing@plus.net would be too hard to implement however from looking around these very forums I'd guess to say they wouldn't cope with the influx
Glad you are still around and so kind.
YOU, yes you are the only reason why I'm still here - it's what you said earlier that genuinely blew my socks off and made me re-think my decision. Prior to 2019 I was on here all the time, then things happened/changed and so I walked away.

After looking into this a fair bit, I've updated the ticket, which I hope helps clear things up!

I said it before and I'll say it again - THANK YOU!!!!!
If you EVER need help - if you use @ (at character) and write DS next to it this will automatically poke me in the eye and thus get my attention. day or night, it will let me know. You will know if you've done it right as the letters change colour
I AM SOOOOOO happy to hear/see/read that this has all been sorted and the refund you worked hard for has been issued.
