Cancellation charges

Hi all,

Been a while!

Had some great help on here before so you got me back!

Q - Is there a cancellation charge calculator or "rule of thumb" that i can be privy to please?

I have 6 months left on the current contract but other providers (with similar customer ratings) are now getting on for half price! I'm wanting to do my sums!

@Opal 

I sounds like you may not have negotiated a very good deal when you last renewed your contract. The cancellation charge is basically what you are paying Plusnet for your service until your contractual end date minus that which Plusnet pay Openreach. I do not know that figure. When doing your sums remember that you pay a month in advance.

Details https://www.plus.net/help/my-account/early-termination-charges/  can be found here but it isn't a calculator or estimator, just how charges are calculated.

Ex - Plusnet Customer (2009 - 2023) now with BT

So how do they work it out then?
Can't be "whim du jour" shurely?
I'm on unlimited fibre extra if that helps...

Hi there,

I'd recommend giving my colleagues in our Customer Options Team a quick call on 0800 013 2632 to have a chat about what we can do for you. They'll also be able to tell you your cancellation fees. 

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
