Broadband failure and compensation

Hi
We have recently received compensation for loss of broadband over a considerable amount of time. It was a pleasant surprise but the amount means we will likely never use all the credit...does anyone know if Plusnet will refund this money direct into our bank account or if we have to stay with them until the credit is used up???

Many thanks

Re: Broadband failure and compensation

If you have a credit balance when/if you leave Plusnet it will be credited to your bank account (if you have a current Direct Debit set up), otherwise they will send a cheque.

Re: Broadband failure and compensation

Hiya @england752, this is just to confirm that what @jab1 has advised is correct and if you leave, a final invoice will generate and if you are in credit, it will be refunded back to you.
