Auto transfer to EE. Pricing????

Got the email about auto transfer to EE as we currently have and would probably want to keep the number/landline.

I have 3 or 4 months left with PN and current terms etc should transfer. However on the PN website I get a code that in theory has some sort of "preferential pricing" for new EE contracts. I took a look but couldn't find any way to add this code unless I went through the full sign up process - I didn't do this this as I just wanted to know the actual price before deciding on a new 24 month contract. I suspect there would be much better new customer deals through Uswitch/Quidco/ or other providers.

So the question is, has anyone used their code and how does pricing work out?

GigaClear is available in my road but no other full fibre service yet. Their pricing is good and neighbours have been pleased with service. Most likely go with them if EE price is not such a great deal.

@BlueEagle365
So why not let yet current contract run to completion with EE then do your price comparison? That way you will avoid any cancellation charges.

Re: Auto transfer to EE. Pricing????

That's what I'm planning to do. Will review landline use as well. Gigaclear also offering free fibre until contract ends.

Hoping Openreach get their act together and roll out fibre in our village, it's listed for installation soon but no timescale as yet.

@BlueEagle365, if Gigaclear is available I'd recommend going with them. Their FTTP is symmetric so your upload speed is the same as download. I have a 600Mbps service with them and consistently get 670Mbps in both directions.
