Autistic and forced to move to EE. What are my rights on exit fees

Hi All,

I was sent a email last week on Wednesday. I don’t want to be with Plusnet any more as they don’t support land lines and I don’t want to move to EE which is very expensive when asking for a new contact.

I want to leave plusnet and go to another provider that suits me like when I signed up to my latest contract with a Plusnet which I have 8 months left on that contract. I signed up with plusnet and they are forcing me to move to EE - if my contact has 8 months and they don’t do my package on Plusnet which is what I signed up in the first place ,why can’t I get to leave without exit fees?

I said I have autism and much prefer to use live chat but it seems to be phone only which gets me rather stressed. If anyone knows if they have an email address please let me know? If not I will have to try and phone I guess.

Thanks so much in advance of anyone who may reply’s.

The move to EE does not start a new contract. EE will honour the existing Plusnet contract period and provide the same services, albeit the phone service will be digital voice. Once your contract expires you will be free to move from EE without ETCs

Apart from the change of name on your bill and a new hub, neither of which will materially disadvantage you, what are the differences in your current package, which will continue with EE?
