What's the use of smartcap

Hi

I had smart cap set at £5. I was in Cairo and i turned my phone on to get a text message to activate wifi at airport. I knew i had a smart cap of £5. But within few 2nd my bill went over £12. Surely something is wrong whats point of having smart cap if plusnet lets it exceed it.

I am sorry for any confusion that has been caused. The charges will show under the unbilled section, however when the bill is generated a credit will be applied to ensure you are billed at the correct amount in line with your smart cap.
