Voicemail

I would like to set up voicemail so that unanswered calls hear a message asking them to either call again later, or send a text message. I don't want them to be able to record a voicemail message. Is this possible?

Hi there - unfortunately it's not possible to close your mailbox in this way: the only way to ensure a voicemail message can not be recorded would be to remove the voicemail from your account (please let me know if you'd like me to go ahead with this.)

Alternatively, you could record a voicemail message asking callers to either call again later or send a text: they would have to listen to this before the option to leave a message was presented.
