Unable to access Voice Mail

I have a voice mail - phone tells me to phone 555

Which I do and it immediately disconnects.

Anyone know what to do?

Voicemail access code is 1571 - don't know where 555 comes from (assuming landline phone)

I'm really sorry to read that you are experiencing issues with your voicemail. We are aware that previously there have been drops in connection with the voicemail service. 

How often is this happening? If this is within the last 48 hours please continue to monitor this until Monday. If no improvement, you can speak directly with our Mobile team by dialling 500 from your handset or alternatively you can start the process of passing security by sending us a PM with your:

voice mail arrived on Thursday - I know what its about so I just wanted to get on and listen to it as my phone keeps popping up reminders that I've not listened to it.

I've shut it down, left it for a few minutes and restarted it and it makes no difference.

Everything else is working fine - I dial the short code and it just beeps at me and ends the call.
