Transferring mobile number to another customer

Can I transfer one of my mobile numbers to my partner who has been using it for years anyway?

Hi there, sorry to disappoint but it's not possible to move a mobile number between Plusnet mobile accounts. 

As we're winding things up with our mobile offerings we can  help you move a number over to EE if you like?

Yes, this is disappointing as other providers offer transfer of ownership. Anyway, I will probably have to do that when I move to another provider (Lebara most probably). Thanks.
