My wife, her mum and me are all with Plusnet, and have had no problems. Today my mother-in-law received a text but supposedly from EE saying that her billing info was wrong and to follow a link in the text. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and is it a fake?
If your mother in law doesn't have an account with EE for any of their services (I believe they do broadband as well as mobile) I'd say it sounds like a scam text they've received. It may be worth them contacting EE to confirm though.
