PAC Code wont work?

I'm switching from Plusnet Mobile to EE. I'm trying to port my number and have requested my PAC code from Plusnet. When I type that into the switching form on EE's website, I get a message telling me it's incorrect. I've tried it a few times, even on different devices and still no luck. I've tried to request a new PAC code but it won't send me one as I have recently requested one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: PAC Code wont work?

Contact EE customer services to get the PAC code checked

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: PAC Code wont work?

Don't know if this will help - but this is a thread from EE relating to transferring FROM PlusNet Mobile to EE..

If you go through the call centre then it seems the transfer is done AUTOMATICALLY and the PAC code is redundant...

I think I have found the problem (in case it helps anyone else).

There is an online transfer process set up for customers of Plusnet to switch to EE.

That online form takes your Pac code.

Then, days later, you get your new SIM with instructions to go to

This also requests your Pac code.

But because that has already been submitted previously, the web form throws an error and complains that the Pac code is invalid.

It turns out though that behind the scenes the transfer process has already started and will complete in the normal way.

Oh my, how much time have I wasted today on this...
