Number Porting

Give my pac code on Wednesday to port number over to Plusnet. It’s now Monday and still not done. Haven’t been able to use my phone since Wednesday night. It’s apparently on a list but can’t tell me how long this will take. The phone is for my mother who lives alone and now can’t ring anybody. This is not acceptable. How long do I wait. Bad start

Re: Number Porting

Hi Grggs9,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your port-in.

The port-in process takes up to 1 working day when processed before 6pm on a weekday or up to 2 working days when processed after 6pm to complete; there will be some disruption on the network in the meantime and we don't process ports of a weekend, but this is part of the process.

On rare occasions, a port can become 'stuck' during the transfer stage. If this happens, it is then raised with our Operations Team who'll liaise with your previous network provider to investigate further.

I'd be unable to advise of a timescale as to when this will be resolved but rest assured, the team will be working to get you up and running as soon as possible.
