Re: Network Coverage

EE network coverage is quite poor despite EE adverts saying it's one of the best. I live in Hertfordshire and if I compare the four main providers using the Ofcom website EE comes out worst. This is one reason for not going with Plusnet. The other thing is my wife has just changed from Plusnet to Vodafone due to poor coverage and transferring the number. She has endless junk calls from China using this number so EE aren't managing number recycling well.

Re: Network Coverage

Nationally, EE does have the most extensive geographical coverage of all the UK networks, currently ~84% geographical. However, that includes 4G on 800Mhz, and for that reason comparing PN with Vodafone is not equal.
Every network will have good & bad coverage areas.

Re: Network Coverage

I'm afraid the Ofcom coverage maps for 4G Indoors for Voice say otherwise for EE compared with O2 and Vodafone. Have a look.

Re: Network Coverage

The Ofcom coverage predictions include EE's 800Mhz, so in areas where that coverage layer is dominant they won't be accurate for any MVNO.
